Government
Ok, so how many of you received the letter this week from the United States Census?? They said on the news they mailed this out to at least 90%+ of USA addresses. Now, do you really need this letter…a letter to tell you that in a week you will received another letter with the real Census??? Not a letter I need. More paper for the landfills (another topic). Perhaps the government is trying to subsidise the US Postal Service, but it seems like a complete waste to me. Think of it, all the printing costs, envelopes, time and machines to assemble in the envelopes, the postage, the manpower. What is wrong with you Robert M. Groves, Director, U.S. Census Bureau?? Damn it, when is the government going to stop wasting our tax dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common? Here is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn’t know of this until it was pointed out to me.
Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.
Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal’s after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.
And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 865,000 Mexican Nationals! The program was called ‘Operation Wetback’. It was done so WWII and Korean Veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took 2 Years, but they deported them!
Now….if they could deport the illegal’s back then – they could sure do it today.
lf you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation Wetback into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself. (I did it)
Reminder: Don’t forget to pay your taxes… 12 million Illegal Aliens are depending on you!

So I was looking at some pictures shot from the Hubble telescope and it got me thinking about infinity and what it really is. I have come to the conclusion that mankind cannot really comprehend what infinity is. My brain started hurting the more I thought about it. I look at these pictures and wonder is there an end? There can never be an end, because what is an end, a wall? If there is a wall, then there is something on the other side. If it is a solid object, how thick…infinitely thick. And on the other side of this object…more, infinitely more. See, your brain is hurting now too. Think of walking in a circle. You can never reach an end. You can walk in this circle for an infinite length of time and never get to the end. Looking the other way, small. How small is small? Guess what, infinitely small. The scientific community uses their resources to find ever smaller particles. But beyond these are even smaller particles, infinitely small. So here we are; a speck in an infinite space and time. In other words we are infinitely insignificant!!!! Now my brain really hurts!!

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you’ll ever read. This is one paragraph that should be in every book in every school room in every city in every state in our great Union … Our educators should make a lesson plan on this one statement and instill these words in the minds of all students.
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation..
5. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

BENSENVILLE, IL – Two males were killed this afternoon when their car slammed into a tree in Bensenville, tearing the vehicle into two, authorities said.
One of the victims was a 16-year-old boy.
Bensenville police say the two victims were in an orange 2002 Honda convertible speeding north on York Road beside a second vehicle when it lost control, flew off the roadway and into a tree in the 200 block of South York Road.
Emergency crews who arrived at about 4:13 p.m. found the Honda sheared in two with one of the occupants dead at the scene, according to the police news release.
The second victim, the 16-year-old, was taken to Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, where he was pronounced dead at 4:56 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Neither victim had been positively identified, police said.
The second speeding vehicle, described only as a dark-colored auto, continued north on York Road without stopping.
Police were working with the DuPage County Accident Reconstruction Team to gather additional details on the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (630) 350-3455.

Emergency Weather Bulletin:
This text is from a county emergency manager out in the western part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan after a severe snow storm ……
The Mining Journal, Marquette , MI
WEATHER BULLETIN
Up here in the Northern part of Michigan we just recovered from a Historic event — may I even say a “Weather Event” of “Biblical Proportions” — with a historic blizzard of up to 44″ inches of snow and winds to 90 MPH that broke trees in half, knocked down utility poles, stranded hundreds of motorists in lethal snow banks, closed ALL roads, isolated scores of communities and cut power to 10s of thousands.
FYI:
- Obama did not come.
- FEMA did nothing.
- No one howled for the government.
- No one blamed the government.
- No one even uttered an expletive on TV.
- Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton did not visit.
- Our Mayors did not blame Obama or anyone else.
- Our Governor did not blame Obama or anyone else either.
- CNN, ABC, CBS, or NBC did not visit – or even report on this category 5 snow storm.
- Nobody demanded $2,000 debit cards.
- No one asked for a FEMA Trailer House.
- No one looted.
- Nobody – I mean Nobody demanded the government do something.
- Nobody expected the government to do anything either.
- No Larry King, No Oprah, No Chris Mathews and No Geraldo Rivera.
- No Shaun Penn, No Barbara Streisand,
- No Brad Pitts, No Hollywood types to be found.
- Nope, we just melted the snow for water.
- Sent out caravans of SUV’s to pluck people out of snow engulfed cars.
- The truck drivers pulled people out of snow banks and didn’t ask for a penny.
- Local restaurants made food, and the police and fire departments delivered it to the snow bound families…
- Families took in the stranded people – total strangers.
- We fired up wood stoves, broke out coal oil lanterns or Coleman lanterns.
- We put on an extra layers of clothes because up here it is “Work or Die”.
- We did not wait for some affirmative action government to get us out of a mess created by being immobilized by a welfare program that trades votes for ’sittin at home’ checks.
Even though a Category 5 blizzard of this scale is not usual, we know it can happen and how to deal with it ourselves.
I hope this gets passed on.
Maybe ……
SOME people will get the message ……
The world does Not owe you a living..

I love this and it is soooooooooooooo Trueeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Right on, Andy Rooney!
Andy Rooney said on ‘60 Minutes’ a few weeks back:
I don’t think being a minority makes you a victim of anything except numbers. The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America and see what happens…Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door!
Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.
I believe they are called the Boy Scouts for a reason, which is why there are no girls allowed. Girls belong in the Girl Scouts! ARE YOU LISTENING MARTHA BURKE?
I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion.
I have the right ‘NOT’ to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off.
When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling; it is the Law of Probability.
I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American/Canadian/British citizen, you should have to speak English!
My father and grandfather didn’t die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.
I think the police should have every right to shoot or arrest you if you threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can’t understand the word ‘freeze’ or ’stop’ in English, see the above lines.
I don’t think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special National Assistance, loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, corner store, or any other business.
We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document and open to their interpretations.
I don’t hate the rich I don’t pity the poor
I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn’t stop you from watching them.
I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If this ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that’s better, and put your name on the building.
It doesn’t take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid and smack their little behinds when necessary, and say ‘NO!’
I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don’t pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that new lip ring heals. I don’t want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you serve me French fries!
I am sick of ‘Political Correctness.’ I know a lot of black people, and not a single one of them was born in Africa so how can they be ‘African-Americans/Canadian/British’? Besides, Africa is a continent.. I don’t go around saying I am a European-American because my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather was from Europe. I am proud to be from America and nowhere else.
And if you don’t like my point of view…tough!

Illinois
It was not that long ago that Illinois was complaining about over crowed prisons (Google it and you will see this is true). How come if Illinois has over crowed prisons we have an almost empty Thomson prison that we are willing to sell to the Federal Government. Just does not make sense!!

Welcome
Welcome to my blog. Didn’t have too much success with the forum, so since I probably have the most to say, I will use this blog to get out my comments, feelings and ideas. I was truly disappointed that the people of Bensenville did not embrace the forum. This was perfect medium to convey your message to the establishment. Oh well, you lose!!! At least I can still get my message out.
